Institute launches bi-weekly seminars

Dr. Victor Ongoma presenting his paper on, “Changing Mean and Extreme Climate over East Africa”. His work projected rainfall increase over East Africa region throughout the 21st century. He termed this to be a paradox given that current trends show a decrease in rainfall over the region.

Professor Mathu is the Director of the Institute of Mining and Mineral Processing (IMM&P) and an Associate Professor in Geology specialized in Mineralogy, Petrology, Structural Geology, Field Geology and Engineering Geology.
